100,000 older adults will participate in activities at more than 1,000 locations throughout the U.S. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 as we celebrate the 24th annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day. The common goal for this day: to help keep older Americans healthy and fit. Always set for the last Wednesday in May, National Senior Health & Fitness Day is the nation's largest annual health promotion event for older adults.
National Senior Health & Fitness Day is organized as a public-private partnership by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national information clearinghouse for the older adult market.
Organizations interested in hosting a local 2017 National Senior Health & Fitness Day event must register every year in order to legally use the event name and logo, which are federal trademarks. The 2017 event registration fee is $29.95 per location, but there are a limited number of free 2017 event registrations available, courtesy of one of our 2017 National Sponsors.
Online event registration gives local groups the license to legally use the National Senior Health & Fitness Day event name and logo, unlimited access to the official event website — with all of the materials and resources needed to plan and host a successful event on Wednesday, May 31st — a free subscription to FitnessDay News, the official event newsletter, access to the Senior Day Store with the officially licensed 2017 event promotion items — T-shirts, bags, balloons, buttons, pens, and more!
