Seniors Invited to Enter the Annual
National Senior Health & Fitness Day Theme Contest!

On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, an estimated 100,000 older adults across America will participate in the 17th annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD), the nation's largest annual health and fitness event for older adults.

Every fall, NSHFD sponsors a theme contest to select a slogan for the next year's event. Adults age 50 and older are eligible to submit a contest entry. The winning entrant will receive a cash prize, and the winning theme will appear on National Senior Health & Fitness Day materials.

The theme should be a short phrase or sentence that focuses attention on the importance and fun of regular physical activity for older adults. For example, the winning slogan for 2009 was "Fitness is a Good Move!"

Entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2009
and should be sent to:

You must include your name, address and daytime phone number. You may send post cards or letters. Entries also may be submitted online, by e-mail to info@fitnessday.com or fax: 1-847-816-8662. You may enter as often as you wish.
